Capy’s Plotopia · last updated 7 August 2026
The short version. Use the app to write stories with people you know. Twists are credits for writing passages, not money, and they do not expire. The stories you write are yours. The narrator is a language model, so it will sometimes be odd — keep an adult nearby. We are a very small studio and this is supplied as it is.
Capy’s Plotopia is made and operated by PXT Tech Studio, LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the app or the web version you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions go to support@capybaraaroundtheworld.com.
If you are under 18, an adult should read this and set the app up with you.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, or sublicense it, or try to extract its source, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing service.
What you type — the setup, the characters, the moves you choose or write — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store it only to run the app, as set out in the Privacy Policy, and we do not use your stories to train anything.
The passages the narrator writes are generated by a language model. We make no claim of ownership over them and no promise that they are unique — a model may produce something similar for someone else.
A story belongs to whoever hosts it. Anyone with the four-character code can read it, so share the code with the care you would share the story itself.
Stories come from a language model responding to what players choose. We instruct it to write for the audience and reading level selected and to keep to the spirit of a family story, but we cannot guarantee every sentence. A model can be strange, repetitive, or occasionally unsuitable despite the instructions.
We recommend an adult stays nearby, particularly with younger children. If something comes out badly wrong, please tell us — it is the only way we learn which instructions are not holding.
Do not use Capy’s Plotopia to produce material that is illegal, that sexualises or endangers a child, that harasses a real person, or that you intend to pass off as something a real person said or wrote. Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to use another person’s library key.
We may suspend access that is doing any of these things.
There is no sign-up, no password, and no email address. Your library is held against a key generated on your device. If you lose that key we cannot recover your library — we do not know whose it was. That is the deliberate trade for asking nothing about you.
We may add, change, or remove features. If a change removes something you paid for, we will say so in the app rather than doing it quietly.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any story will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as that law permits.
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Equivalent terms apply to Google for the Android version.
You may stop using the app at any time; deleting it removes the library key from your device. We may end your licence if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability — do.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here removes a consumer right you have where you live that cannot be waived.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page. The date at the top is when it last changed.
